Overview

Pretty Pretty Princess is a children’s jewelry dress-up game where players move around a gameboard collecting pieces of a jewelry set in their chosen color. The first player to collect a complete set of jewelry in their color plus the crown wins, but beware the cursed Black Ring.

Components

• 1 gameboard with spinner
• 4 sets of plastic jewelry (one per color: pink, green, purple, blue), each containing:
  • 1 necklace
  • 1 bracelet
  • 1 ring
  • 2 earrings (pair)
• 1 crown (shared)
• 1 black ring (cursed)
• 4 player pawns

Setup

1. Place the gameboard and spinner on the table.
2. Put all the colored jewelry in a pile where all players can reach it.
3. Place the crown near the jewelry pile.
4. Choose your jewelry color for the game (pink, green, purple, or blue).
5. Put your matching color pawn on any space on the gameboard. Do not place it on a gameboard corner.

Turn Structure

Each player spins the spinner and moves their pawn clockwise around the gameboard the number of spaces shown. Follow the directions for the space you land on. Your turn is over.

Actions

Jewelry Spaces

Necklace, Bracelet, Earring, or Ring space: Take that piece of jewelry in your color and put it on. If you already have that piece, your turn is over.

Crown Space

Take the crown (or take it from the player who is wearing it) and put it on.

Black Ring Space

Take the black ring (or take it from the player who is wearing it). You must wear the black ring until you can get rid of it.

Put One Back Space

If you have the black ring, now you may get rid of it by putting it back in the pile. If you do not have the black ring, you must return one piece of your color jewelry (necklace, bracelet, earring, or ring) to the jewelry pile. If you have nothing to return, your turn is over.

Take Any Piece Space

Take any piece of your color jewelry from the jewelry pile or take the crown. If another player is wearing the crown, you can take it.

Scoring / Victory Conditions

Collect a complete set of jewelry in your color (necklace, bracelet, ring, and earrings) plus the crown, but NOT the black ring. The first player to have all these items and not the black ring wins.

When you win, wear the crown and all your color jewelry, wave your best Princess wave to your opponents!

Special Rules & Edge Cases

• A player wearing the black ring cannot win the game, even if they have all other pieces.
• Only the “Put One Back” space allows removing the black ring.
• The crown can be taken from another player by landing on a Crown space or a Take Any Piece space.
• Note: You may only take one earring at a time, and you must collect both earrings of your color (2 earrings per set).
• Earring goes: Carefully open the earring clip and then clip it onto your ear lobe.
