Pixie Queen is a worker placement and resource management game where players take the role of pixies trying to satisfy their tyrannical queen. Each round, pixies collect silver, gold, and food as offerings. The queen rewards penalty points to those who work least, so the winner is the player with the fewest penalty points. Only at game end can collected victory points offset your penalties.
The game consists of a maximum of 7 rounds with 5 phases each:

The game uses an inverted scoring system where the only points earned during play are penalty points. The player who earned the fewest penalties is the winner.
At game end, collected victory points offset penalties. A positive final score (penalties minus victory points) means you did well. The player with the lowest final score wins.
