Overview

Perfection is a timed shape-matching game. Players race to fit all 25 geometric shapes into their matching holes on the game tray before time runs out. If the timer expires, the tray pops up and scatters all the pieces.

Components

Setup

  1. Wipe the top of the game unit with a clean, dry cloth and carefully apply the label.
  2. Twist each shape off the plastic runners and discard runners.
  3. Choose one player to go first; players alternate turns.
  4. Place all shapes next to the game unit and mix them up. Arrange shapes so handles face up.
  5. Set the switch at “STOP.”
  6. Turn the timer dial CLOCKWISE until it stops at “0.”
  7. Press down the pop-up tray.

Turn Structure

  1. Move the switch to “START” to begin the timer.
  2. Quickly fit the shapes into their matching holes in the tray.
  3. If you finish before time runs out: Quickly move the switch to “STOP.” The number the arrow points to on the dial is the time to beat.
  4. If you do NOT finish before time runs out: The tray pops up, scattering shapes everywhere. Your turn is over. The original 60 seconds remains the time to beat.
  5. The next player gathers all 25 shapes and takes their turn.

Actions

The only action is placing shapes into their matching holes as quickly as possible. Each shape has a unique geometric form that fits only one hole.

Scoring / Victory Conditions

The player who matches all 25 shapes in the shortest time wins.

If playing solo, try to beat your own previous time or the 60-second timer.
