Pegity is a classic Parker Brothers peg-placement game where 2 to 4 players compete to be the first to get five pegs of their color in an uninterrupted row on a pegboard. The game plays similarly to Connect Five / Gomoku but uses a physical pegboard.
On your turn, place one peg of your color into any empty hole on the pegboard. Play then passes to the next player.
The only action is placing a single peg per turn. Pegs are never moved or removed once placed.
A player may also attempt to block opponents by placing pegs to prevent them from completing a row of five.
The first player to place five pegs of their own color in an uninterrupted straight row wins. The row may be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. Adjacent holes must be in a consecutive, unbroken line.
Alternate scoring (Partners): In the “Partners” variant, teams of two play with the goal of getting five in a row using either partner’s pegs. Partners sit across from each other.
| Goal | Place 5 pegs in an uninterrupted row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) |
|---|---|
| Turn | Place 1 peg in any empty hole |
| Win | First player/team with 5 in a row |
