Odysseus
Overview
Odysseus is a light strategy game for 3-6 players where Greek gods compete to steer Odysseus’s ship to adventures that match their task cards. Players play Wind cards to influence the ship’s direction across a sea board. The ship moves according to the dominant wind direction each round. The first player to score 10 or more points by completing adventures wins.

1 Game board (sea with adventure discs)
1 Ship (Odysseus’s vessel)

Setup
Place the game board centrally.
Place adventure discs on designated sea locations.
Place Odysseus’s ship on the starting position.
Shuffle Wind cards and deal a hand to each player.
Each player receives a Task card showing 3 adventures they need to steer the ship toward.
Turn Structure
Each round:
Play Wind Cards: Each player simultaneously plays Wind cards face down onto colored spaces on the board.
Reveal and Resolve: All played cards are revealed. The color with the highest total wind strength determines the ship’s movement direction.
Move Ship: Move the ship in the winning direction.
Score Adventures: If the ship lands on an adventure disc matching a player’s Task card, that player scores points.
Draw new cards to replenish hands.
Actions
Playing Wind Cards
Play cards onto colored direction spaces to influence the ship.
Multiple cards of the same color stack their values.
The direction with the highest total wind strength wins.
Scoring Adventures
When the ship reaches an adventure disc, players with matching illustrations on their Task cards score points.
Each Task card shows 3 different adventures worth varying points.
Scoring / Victory Conditions
The first player to score 10 or more points wins the game. Points are earned by having the ship land on adventures matching your Task card.
Special Rules & Edge Cases
Tied winds: If two directions have equal strength, specific tiebreaking rules apply.
Ship movement: The ship always moves in the single winning direction.
Task card completion: After completing all 3 adventures on a Task card, draw a new one.
Hand management: Players must balance using strong cards now versus saving them for future rounds.
