Components

Setup

Turn Structure

On your turn, perform exactly 1 action from the available options:

  1. Build a City – Place a city tile on the map to expand territory.
  2. Develop a Technology – Take a technology card from the display.
  3. Recruit – Add military units to your forces.
  4. Construct a Wonder – Build a wonder for special abilities and VP.
  5. Increase Population – Add population to your cities.
  6. Produce – Generate trade goods from your cities.
  7. Tax/Tribute – Collect resources based on your government type.
  8. Take a Leader – Recruit a leader for bonuses.
  9. Establish Government – Choose or upgrade your government form.

Actions

Building Cities

Place city tiles on the map in regions you control. Cities generate resources and population capacity.

Technology

Technology cards provide permanent bonuses, unlock actions, and score VP. They are arranged in a tech tree with prerequisites.

Military

Recruit armies and use them to control regions, defend cities, or score military-based VP. Military actions do not involve direct player combat.

Wonders

Construct wonders for powerful one-time or ongoing effects and significant VP.

Government

Your government type determines your tax rate, military capacity, and special abilities. Different governments favor different strategies.

Scoring / Victory Conditions

The game ends after a set number of rounds or when a trigger condition is met. Players score VP from:
