Monopoly Junior is a simplified version of Monopoly designed for children ages 5-8. Players move around a boardwalk-themed board, setting up Ticket Booths on amusement spaces and collecting entrance fees from other players. The game ends when any player runs out of money, and the player with the most cash wins.
On your turn:
| Space | Effect |
|---|---|
| Unoccupied Amusement | Pay the Bank the amount shown, then place one of your Ticket Booths on it |
| Occupied Amusement | Pay the booth owner the amount shown. If owner has both same-color amusements, pay double |
| GO! | Collect $2 from the Bank each time you pass (do not forget!) |
| Railroad | Roll again, move, and follow instructions on the new space |
| Fireworks / Water Show | Pay $2, place it on the “Rich Uncle Pennybags’ Loose Change” space |
| Rest Rooms | “Just Waiting” – no effect |
| Go to Rest Rooms | Pay $3 to “Loose Change” space, move immediately to Rest Rooms (do NOT pass GO, do NOT collect $2). Roll normally next turn |
| Loose Change | Collect all money on this space |
| Chance (?) | Draw top Chance card, follow instructions, discard face up |
The game ends as soon as any player runs out of money. All other players count their cash on hand. The player with the most money wins.
| Phase | Action |
|---|---|
| Roll | Roll 1 die, move clockwise |
| Land | Follow space instructions (buy booth, pay rent, draw Chance, etc.) |
| End | Game ends when any player goes broke; most cash wins |
