Overview

Luck of the Draw is a party drawing game for the artistically challenged. All players draw the same subject, then vote on whose drawings best fit randomly chosen categories. The player who collects the most Category cards wins.

Components

Setup

Distribute a paper pad, pencil, and voting wheel to each player. Place subject and category card boxes, die, and timer centrally. Select coloured chips matching the player count.

Turn Structure

Each round has two phases: Drawing and Voting.

Drawing Phase

  1. One player selects a subject card.
  2. Another player rolls the die (determines which subject on the card) and starts the timer.
  3. All players have 45 seconds to draw the subject matching the rolled number.
  4. Players may finish early and place drawings face-down, or complete when time expires.

Voting Phase

  1. Shuffle drawings anonymously; assign coloured chips to each.
  2. Roll the die to determine how many category cards are drawn.
  3. For each category card, all players secretly vote (using voting wheels) for which drawing best fits that category.
  4. The drawing with the majority of votes wins the Category card.

Actions
