Overview

Kitty Bitty is a children’s dice game where kittens race around yarn balls trying to avoid being caught by the Mommy Cat. Players roll colored dice to move their kittens, circle around yarn balls, and race back to the basket. The first kitten to jump on all 10 yarn balls and return to the basket wins.

Components

Setup

  1. Arrange the Basket and Yarn Balls in a circle on the playing area — the Basket is the starting and ending point.
  2. Place two eyes in every Mommy Cat so that each has a blank eye and an eye with a kitten printed on the bottom.
  3. Mix up the Mommy Cats so no one remembers which eye is which.
  4. Have every player choose a kitten and place it on the Basket to start.

Turn Structure

The youngest player takes the first turn. On your turn:

  1. Roll the dice to see the colors.
  2. Find the Mommy Cat with the eye colors that match the dice.
  3. Pick one of her eyes to lift.
