Overview
Ierusalem: Anno Domini is a strategy card game set in biblical Jerusalem where players attempt to gain influence and earn the best seats near Jesus at the Last Supper. Players manage a deck of cards representing locations and actions, collecting resources, listening to parables, doing favors, and seating followers at the table. The game runs until the Sanhedrin marker reaches the top of its track, triggering the final scoring based on follower positions relative to the Apostles.

- Number of parables collected
- Resources or offerings held
- Number of favors done
- Number of followers seated at the table
End-Game Scoring
When the Sanhedrin marker reaches the top of its track, the game ends and final scoring occurs:
- Follower positioning: Most end-game points come from follower locations relative to Apostles at the table.
- There are 3 tiers of Apostle values (e.g., 6-point, 4-point, 2-point Apostles).
- Followers directly behind an Apostle gain full points.
- Each space of distance between a follower and an Apostle reduces the score by 1 point.
- Parable bonuses
- Favor bonuses
- Resource conversion
The player with the most total points wins.
Special Rules & Edge Cases
- Sanhedrin timing: The game end is driven by card play — every card with a Sanhedrin symbol advances the track, so players collectively control game length.
- Card order matters: Icons on the bottom of cards must be resolved in the order shown.
- Apostle seating bonus: When an Apostle is seated, the player who seats them receives a specific action benefit.
- Tier scoring: Apostles worth 6 points grant 6 points for the first space behind them, minus 1 per additional space of distance.
- Solo mode: The game supports solitaire play with modified rules.
- Deck building: Players start with 10 basic cards and can acquire more powerful cards throughout the game.
