Overview
Historical Mystery: Disappearance in the Sky is a cooperative deduction card game in the Historical Mystery series by Hobby World. A millionaire has vanished from an airplane, and players investigate the disappearance a year after the event. Using 56 cards, players have 24 moves to interrogate suspects, examine evidence, and reconstruct what happened. After the investigation, players answer case questions to determine how well they solved the mystery.

Setup
- Sort cards as directed by the rulebook.
- Lay out the initial case introduction cards.
- Set the move counter to 24.
- Review the case premise as a group.
Turn Structure
Players take turns performing investigation actions:
- Choose an action — Select which card or lead to investigate.
- Resolve — Read the corresponding card(s).
- Reduce move counter — Each action costs 1 move.
- Discuss — Share findings with other players.

Scoring / Victory Conditions
After all 24 moves are used (or players stop early):
- Answer a series of case questions about the mystery.
- More correct answers = better score.
- Perfect score = fully solved case.

- Cooperative: All players work together openly.
- 24-move budget: Cannot investigate everything — prioritization is key.
- Single play-through: The mystery is designed for one play per group.
- Solo compatible: Fully playable by one player.
