Overview

Finca is a set-collection and delivery game set on Mallorca. Players move farmers around a windmill to harvest tropical fruits (figs, almonds, olives, oranges, grapes, and lemons), then deliver them to communities around the island. The windmill’s rondel mechanism determines both how far farmers move and how many fruits they collect. Deliveries earn fruit tiles worth victory points. The player with the most points when the last wooden finca is placed wins.

Components

Setup

  1. Place the board. Shuffle 12 windmill blades face-down; place face-up on windmill spaces.
  2. Shuffle 42 fruit tiles; make 10 stacks of 4, place 1 per region with top tile face-up. Return 2 extras to box unseen.
  3. Randomly place 1 finca tile per region on each community.
  4. Place wooden fincas nearby: 6 (4p), 5 (3p), 4 (2p).
  5. Sort 108 fruits by type as general supply.
  6. Each player takes 4 action tiles in their color.
  7. Each player takes farmers: 3 (4p), 4 (3p), 5 (2p).
  8. Stack bonus tiles: 4 on bottom, then 5, 6, 7 on top.
  9. Stack donkey carts in windmill center: 8 (4p), 6 (3p), 4 (2p).

Introduction Phase

Starting with the first player clockwise, each player places 1 farmer on any windmill blade and takes 1 matching fruit. Repeat until all farmers are placed.

Turn Structure

On your turn, choose exactly one of three options:

1. Move Farmer

2. Deliver Fruit

3. Use Action Tile

Scoring / Victory Conditions

Game ends when the last wooden finca is placed. The active player finishes their turn (including additional finca tile assignments if triggered).

Bonus tiles: First player to collect 6 fruit tiles with values 1 through 6 immediately takes the top bonus tile (7). Subsequent players doing the same take the next tile. A player may earn a second bonus tile with a second complete set.

Tiebreaker: Most total fruits in play area. Still tied: shared victory.
