Overview
Eye Know is a visual trivia game where players identify images on cards and answer trivia questions about them. The game offers two modes: a basic version where the first player to collect 5 cards wins, and a classic version with betting chips where the player with the most chips after 5 rounds wins.
Components
- 400 Game cards (each with an image on the front and three trivia questions on the back)
- 2 Six-sided dice (1 color die, 1 number die)
- Game board with a 4x3 card grid and draw pile space
Setup
Basic Mode
- Deal 12 cards from one deck face-up onto the game board in a 4x3 grid.
- Place extra cards on the draw pile space.
- Choose a first player.
Classic Mode (With Betting Chips)
- Arrange 12 cards in a 4x3 grid on the board.
- Place extra cards on the draw pile space.
- Give each player 5 betting chips (supply your own chips or keep score on paper).
- Choose a first player.
Turn Structure
Basic Mode
- Roll the dice — Color die determines which card color to choose; number die determines the question type (1 = True/False, 2 = Multiple Choice, 3 = Open-Ended).
- Identify an image — Point to a card matching the die color and guess what is shown. The player to your right confirms. If incorrect, turn ends; card is discarded and replaced.
- Answer a trivia question — If you identified the image, the player to your right reads the question matching the number die. Correct: keep the card. Incorrect: discard the card. Either way, draw a replacement card.
Classic Mode
- Identify an image — Choose any of the 12 images; no dice needed. Point and guess. If correct, receive 1 chip and proceed to the trivia question. If incorrect, turn ends; card is discarded.
- Place a bet — Bet 1-5 chips.
- Choose question difficulty and answer:
- True/False, Multiple Choice, or Open-Ended
- Correct: get your bet back plus payout per the chart. Incorrect: lose your bet.
- Whether correct or incorrect, keep the identified card. Draw a replacement.
Actions
- Identify an image by pointing and naming it
- Answer a trivia question at the chosen difficulty
- Bet chips (Classic mode only)
