Overview

Defifoo is a French party game for 3-18 players where teams compete across 150 wacky challenges. Two teams face off while a third team or individual acts as referee. Challenges include drawing, miming, singing, guessing, dancing, and other physical or creative activities. The first team to win 7 challenges wins the game. The game includes a variety of physical props (dice, spinning tops, tape measures, etc.) to support its diverse challenge types.

Components

Setup

  1. Divide players into two competing teams (roughly equal size) and optionally a referee team.
  2. Place all challenge cards in a draw pile.
  3. Set out all props (dice, chips, spinning tops, pencils, notepads, tape measures, hourglass) within reach.
  4. Determine which team goes first.

Turn Structure

Each round:

  1. Draw a Challenge: The active team draws a challenge card.
  2. Read the Challenge: The referee (or a member of the opposing team) reads the challenge aloud.
  3. Perform the Challenge: The active team attempts the challenge, often against a 30-second timer.
  4. Judge the Result: The referee or opposing team judges whether the challenge was successfully completed.
  5. Score: A successful challenge earns the team one point toward the 7 needed to win.
  6. Alternate: Teams take turns drawing and attempting challenges.
