Overview

Cosmic Wimpout is a press-your-luck dice game using 5 custom cubes. Players roll for points, deciding when to stop and bank their score or risk losing everything on a Wimpout. The first player to reach the agreed-upon point goal (typically 300 or 500) wins.

Components

Setup

  1. Agree on a game goal (usually 300 or 500 points).
  2. Determine the first player.

Turn Structure

On your turn:

  1. Roll all 5 cubes.
  2. Set aside any scoring cubes.
  3. Choose to stop (bank your points) or continue rolling the remaining non-scoring cubes.
  4. If you score with all 5 cubes, you MUST pick them all up and roll again (“You May Not Want To But You Must” rule).
