Cosmic Coasters is a strategy game where players teleport ships between moons, battling opponents using Rock-Paper-Scissors combat. Each moon has special terrain including Teleport Pads, Control Points, and Factories. The goal is to transport one of your ships back home from any opponent’s Teleport Pad by controlling their teleportation system.
On each turn, a player performs exactly one of three actions:
Teleport:
Build:
Move/Combat:
Special Powers (one per player/moon):
| Power | Effect |
|---|---|
| Teleport Inhibitor (Stinging Defense) | Opponents must win a round of RPS before teleporting to your moon; ties allow landing only on empty spaces |
| Warning System | When attacked and you win, opponent’s ship is destroyed |
| Rapid Transit | May move 1 or 2 spaces; cannot jump over ships; if 2-space attack fails, choose which space to remain in |
| (4th power varies) | When someone teleports onto your ship, you may escape into any adjacent empty space; if trapped, destroyed |
Win: Be the first to transport one of your ships back to your home moon from any opponent’s Teleport Pad.
Elimination: When a player has only 1 ship left on their home moon, they lose and are eliminated. Their remaining home ship and all their ships on other moons are destroyed. Their moon remains in play.
