Overview

Connect Four is a classic two-player abstract strategy game where players take turns dropping colored checkers into a vertical grid. The goal is to be the first to form a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line of four checkers of your color.

Components

Setup

  1. Assemble the grid by inserting it into the two end supports.
  2. Make sure the sliding lever is positioned so that the bars prevent the checkers from falling through the grid.
  3. Place the game between the two players.
  4. Each player takes all the checkers of one color. The opponent takes the other color.

Turn Structure

Players alternate turns. On each turn, a player drops one checker into any of the 7 slots at the top of the grid. The checker falls to the lowest available position in that column.
