Overview

Coloretto is a card game where players draw colored cards and try to specialize in a few colors. At game end, a player scores plus points for only 3 colors; all other colors score minus points. The more cards of a color, the more points scored. The player with the most points wins.

Components

Setup

  1. Place one row card per player in the middle of the table. Return unused row cards to the box.
  2. Each player takes one summary card.
  3. With 3 players, remove all cards of one color from the game.
  4. Each player takes one card of another color and places it face up in their play area.
  5. Remove the “last round” card and set it aside.
  6. Shuffle remaining cards face down as a supply pile.
  7. Deal 15 cards from the supply face down in a stack. Place the “last round” card on top of this stack of 15 cards. Then place the rest of the supply on top.
  8. Choose a starting player randomly.
