Codename: Kids Next Door Trading Card Game is a collectible card game based on the Cartoon Network animated series. Players build decks representing KND operatives and villains, then battle each other using character cards, action cards, and item cards. The game captures the show’s theme of kids fighting adult tyranny through strategic card play.

Setup
Each player constructs a deck from their collection (or uses a pre-built starter deck).
Shuffle your deck and draw a starting hand of cards (typically 5-7 cards).
Place your deck face-down as your draw pile.
Set up any starting character or mission cards as specified.
Determine who goes first.
Turn Structure
On your turn:
Draw a card from your deck.
Play character, item, or action cards from your hand.
Attack opponent’s characters or objectives.
End your turn; opponent takes their turn.
Actions
Play Character Cards
Deploy KND operatives or villains to your side of the field.
Characters have attack and defense values and may have special abilities.
Play Item Cards
Equip items (2x4 technology weapons from the show) to boost characters.
Items modify attack, defense, or grant special abilities.
Play Action Cards
Play action cards for immediate effects (damage, healing, card draw, etc.).
Some action cards can be played reactively during the opponent’s turn.
Attack
Choose one of your characters to attack an opponent’s character.
Compare attack values against defense values to determine the outcome.
Defeated characters are removed from play.
Complete Missions
Mission cards provide objectives that grant bonus points or effects when completed.
Scoring / Victory Conditions
Reduce your opponent’s health/life points to zero, or
Complete a set number of missions, or
Force your opponent to run out of cards in their deck.
The specific victory condition may vary by game mode.
Special Rules & Edge Cases
Show-themed cards: Characters and abilities reference specific episodes and elements of the Codename: Kids Next Door show.
Deck construction: Standard TCG deck-building rules apply — minimum deck size, card copy limits, etc.
Rarity: Cards come in different rarities (common, uncommon, rare) with rarer cards generally being more powerful.
Out of print: The game is no longer in production, making cards collectible items.
Faction synergy: Building a deck around KND operatives or specific villain groups provides synergy bonuses.
