Overview

Catan 3D Collector’s Edition is a premium version of the classic Settlers of Catan featuring hand-painted, three-dimensional terrain tiles sculpted by Klaus Teuber himself. The rules are identical to standard Catan. Players collect and trade resources to build roads, settlements, and cities on the island of Catan. The 3D terrain provides an immersive visual experience while maintaining the same gameplay.

• 19 hand-sculpted 3D terrain hexes (hills, mountains, forests, fields, pastures, desert)
• 6 3D frame border pieces
• Number tokens
• Resource cards (brick, ore, lumber, grain, wool)
• Development cards
• Building pieces in 4 player colors
• 2 dice
• Robber figure
• Longest Road, Largest Army cards
• Building cost reference cards

Setup

Standard Catan setup with 3D terrain tiles. Follow the base game rules for hex placement (fixed beginner layout or variable).

Turn Structure

Identical to standard Catan: roll dice, trade, build.

Actions

Standard Catan building costs:

• Road: 1 brick + 1 lumber
• Settlement: 1 brick + 1 lumber + 1 grain + 1 wool
• City: 3 ore + 2 grain
• Development Card: 1 ore + 1 grain + 1 wool

Scoring / Victory Conditions

First to 10 VP wins (settlements = 1, cities = 2, Longest Road = 2, Largest Army = 2, VP cards = 1 each).

Special Rules & Edge Cases

All standard Catan rules apply. The 3D terrain is purely aesthetic.
