Overview
Bunny Hops! is a party game where teams compete by guessing, miming, and singing in response to funny questions and challenges. Teams take turns having one member perform an activity (acting out a prompt, singing, or answering a question) while teammates try to guess correctly. The team that earns the most points through successful guesses wins.
Components
- Challenge cards (with various prompts for guessing, miming, and singing)
- Timer
- Score tracking board or tokens
- Dice or spinner for category selection
Setup
- Divide players into two or more teams of equal size.
- Shuffle the challenge cards and place them in a draw pile.
- Set up score tracking.
- Determine which team goes first.
Turn Structure
On each turn:
- One player from the active team draws a challenge card.
- The card specifies the type of challenge: Guess, Mime, or Sing.
- The active player performs the challenge while their teammates attempt to guess the answer.
- If the team guesses correctly before time runs out, they earn a point.
- Play passes to the next team.
Actions
Guess Challenges:
- The active player gives verbal clues (without saying the target word or phrase) while teammates try to guess.
Mime Challenges:
- The active player acts out the prompt without speaking while teammates guess.
Sing Challenges:
- The active player must sing or hum a song related to the prompt while teammates identify it.
Scoring / Victory Conditions
Teams earn points for each correct guess within the time limit. The game continues for a predetermined number of rounds. The team with the most points at the end wins.
Special Rules & Edge Cases
- No Speaking During Mime: The performing player must not speak during mime challenges — only physical acting is allowed.
- No Target Words During Guess: When giving verbal clues, the performing player cannot say the target word or any part of it.
- Timer: All challenges must be completed within the time limit. If the timer runs out, the team scores no points for that round.
- Team Size: Works best with teams of 3-4 players each, but accommodates larger groups.
- Party Atmosphere: The game is designed for laughs and social interaction, with deliberately funny and challenging prompts.
