Overview

Bobbin’ Bumblebee is a children’s dexterity game for 2 to 4 players, ages 3 and up. A mechanical bumblebee flies around the hive, and players must bop it with their wand at the right moment to protect their honeycomb discs. When the bee is flipped over toward an opponent, it “steals” their honey. The last player with at least one honeycomb disc remaining wins.

Components

Setup

  1. Place the hive base in the center of the table.
  2. Each player takes a wand and 3 honeycomb discs, placing the discs in front of them.
  3. Players sit evenly spaced around the hive.
  4. Activate the mechanical bee.

Turn Structure

The game is played in real time — there are no formal turns. The mechanical bee spins continuously around the hive, and players react by bopping it at the right moment.
