Overview

Blink is a two-player speed card game marketed as “the world’s fastest game.” Both players play simultaneously, racing to empty their hands and draw piles by matching cards to two shared center piles. Cards match by sharing at least one of three attributes: color, shape, or count. The first player to play all their cards wins.

Components

Cards have three attributes:

Setup

  1. Shuffle all 60 cards.
  2. Deal them evenly: 30 cards per player, face-down as each player’s draw pile.
  3. Each player draws the top 3 cards from their draw pile into their hand.
  4. Each player flips the top card of their draw pile face-up simultaneously to form 2 center piles.

Turn Structure

There are no turns – both players play simultaneously as fast as they can.
