Bendomino

Overview

Bendomino plays like regular dominoes but uses curved pieces with a 120-degree bend. This innovative design means that not only must the numbers match, but the piece must physically fit into the growing chain. Players take turns matching Bendominoes by number to either end of the chain, drawing from the stock when unable to play. The first player to reach 100 points across multiple rounds wins.

Components

Setup

  1. Place all 28 Bendominoes face down and mix them.
  2. Each player draws pieces based on player count:
    • 2 players: 7 Bendominoes each
    • 3 players: 6 Bendominoes each
    • 4 players: 5 Bendominoes each
  3. Stand Bendominoes on their edges facing you so other players cannot see the dots.
  4. Remaining pieces form the stock.

Turn Structure

  1. The player with the highest double starts by placing it in the center of the table.
  2. If no double was drawn, the player with the highest Bendomino number starts (e.g., 6/5).
  3. Play proceeds clockwise. Each player tries to match a Bendomino by number to either end of the chain.
