Bauernhof-Bande (Barnyard Bunch) is a cooperative children’s game in which players work together to make sure no animal leaves the farm. Players must prevent animals from reaching the last space on the path, which represents leaving the farm. The game teaches cooperation and basic decision-making skills, designed for young children.

Animal figures (various farm animals)
Die
Farm-themed game pieces

Turn Structure
On each turn:

Move an Animal: Based on the die result, move the indicated animal along the path.
Cooperative Decision: Players discuss how to best manage the animals’ positions to keep them on the farm.

Roll Die: Roll to determine which animal moves and/or how far.
Move Animal: Advance the indicated animal along the path toward the exit.
Cooperative Play: All players work together to decide the best course of action when options exist.
Scoring / Victory Conditions
All players win together if they prevent every animal from reaching the last space (the farm exit) before the game ends. All players lose if any animal leaves the farm by reaching the final space.
Special Rules & Edge Cases
Cooperative Game: There is no individual winner. All players succeed or fail together.
Age Appropriate: The game’s simple mechanics are designed for young children (ages 4+).
Limited Decisions: While cooperative, the die largely drives movement, with strategic decisions limited to choosing which animal to move when options arise.
