Overview
Arydia: The Paths We Dare Tread is a cooperative open-world adventure game for 1-4 players by Far Off Games. Players explore a dynamically generated world, encountering creatures, completing quests, and developing their characters along one of several paths (Valor, Arcana, Light, Inspiration, Wandering, Shadow). The game features a branching narrative, tactical combat, and sandbox-style exploration with a story that evolves based on player decisions.

Setup
- Select characters and their starting paths.

Turn Structure
Each round, players take turns performing actions with their characters:
- Movement: Move your character across map tiles.
- Explore: Reveal new map tiles when entering unexplored areas.
- Encounter: Resolve encounters triggered by exploration or quest events.
- Combat: When engaging enemies, use tactical card-based combat.
- Rest/Recover: Heal and prepare for future challenges.
Actions
- Move: Travel across the map to reach new locations.
- Explore: Reveal new terrain tiles, expanding the game world.
- Quest actions: Complete objectives from active quest cards.
- Combat: Engage enemies using path-specific abilities and combat cards.

Scoring / Victory Conditions
The game is cooperative; all players win or lose together. Victory is achieved by completing the main quest line and resolving the narrative’s central conflict. Failure occurs if all players are defeated or certain story conditions trigger a loss.
