Overview
Allegiance: War of Factions is a collectible card game set in a medieval city-state undergoing political turmoil after the death of its king. Players represent competing factions vying for political power. Through card play, players build their faction’s influence, recruit characters, deploy agents, and engage in political and military conflicts to seize control. The player who achieves dominance through political influence wins.

Setup
- Each player builds a deck from cards of their chosen faction and neutral cards.
- Shuffle decks and draw opening hands.

Turn Structure
Each turn consists of phases for drawing cards, playing characters and locations, taking actions, and resolving conflicts.
Actions
- Deploy Characters: Play character cards from hand, paying their cost.
- Play Actions: Use action cards for special effects, attacks, or political maneuvers.
- Assign Agents: Send characters to contested locations to gain influence.
- Engage in Conflict: Characters in the same location may fight or engage in political contests.
- Use Items: Equip characters with items for bonuses.
Scoring / Victory Conditions
Players win by accumulating sufficient political influence or by eliminating rival factions’ ability to contest power.
